The Mistake Number 999999999

Eya Frioui

The deal is done .
It's obvious that our chosen government made it's "best achievement" till now and  got a  deal with the Libyan government. It's not about economy , it's not a new partnership or a new business . But , who knows ? maybe this kind of decision would lead to a coming cooperation with our old neighbors !!!!!!
We still dont know the details of the deal .

Is it a win- win deal ?
I HONESTLY DONT THINK SO !! We simply tend  to be passive in any deal we make  .
Tunisia couldn't achieve any fair partnership or deal with any of it's stakeholders . Did the current government ask for the runaway president Ben Ali or any member of his family  no
they didn't  ? Were they able to accomplish the transitional justice in Tunisia ?Were they able to follow  other model of democratic transition ? Were they at least able  to present an epitome to follow for the rest of the world  ? Did they try to get Sakher el Matri Back from Qatar ? No they didnt ! Did they find a way to get Belhsan Trabelsi back from Canada ? No they didn't.

But they delivered Mahmoudi back !

Meanwhile they were able to cancel the visa for the Gulf countries and they gave them the opportunity to travel easily in and out of our country .

But they delivered Mahmoudi back !

Isn't silly !! , any Managers !! Any leaders in this current government !! I  tried to find one but for the last 6 months i couldn't see any !! Maybe because we simply dont have Leaders .The revolution failed to create a Leader in It's own way , here you go the sad truth as simple as it sounds.

But they delivered Mahmoudi back !

Are you guys serious about this ?  It must be a silly joke .

It's a violation of international human rights law .Some of you will consider it a good wise decision

Not even close !Today , the Tunisian government announced  officially that  Tunisia is ok with  the extradition of the  former Libyan prime minister Baghdadi Mahmoudi  .This was  the result of the visit of   Abdurrahim El Keib to Tunisia last week . Can you really buy this shit the got a new free country ?

I have some questions for the current leaders in the current government :
Do you have any ethics at all ?
When Tunisian will be treated equally ? According to such behaviour as yours dear Leaders  , i am not sure they will ever be treated equally ...

Even the announcement of this stupid decision was not in a respectful way , the Tunisian Justice  minister Noureddine Bhiri informed Reuters that the Tunisian and Libyan government got a deal and Tunisia will no more host Mahmoudi  . Several are the points of contention between Tunisia and Libya but  Mahmoudi's Issue is no longer a matter any more .

The question , what was our part of the deal ? What did we ask for ? What did Libyans offer in the other hand ?
I am pretty sure that this irrational decision would cost our country a lot on the national and international lever .

It's not the first mistake of the current government and it  wont be the last for sure .
In between , i would love to hear the sound of Tunisians about this decision?

Post 14 January 2011 , Tunisia got the golden  opportunity to write it's new history , to be well known on the international level and Lead nations with it's Revolution !!
Now all what we are doing is Leading nations with our stupid mistakes .

"...sound?...what sound?...are we instruments of music to make you hear sounds?...it's said "voice" not sound...speaking of Belhassen Trabselsi...Too bad for you...I'm following up his case and you know what...the government sent every possible document you can imagine to make up all kind of accusations Mr Trabelsi is worthy of...but as long as there is no deportation agreement between Canada and Tunisia...the only thing the Canadian justice can do is deny Mr Trabelsi any request to remain on Canadian soil...I think what you've proved through your article is not that this government is unpatriotic as you desperately tried to do...but rather that you failed to make a right and unbiased reading of the events...Go back to the school where you learnt journalism...It's seems they've given you the title in a hurry
